Can rarely connect with game servers

Hey, this is my first post to the forums so i hope I'm posting in the right place. this has been happening for a long time but until now i haven't done anything about it. when i play games like CS:GO DotA, TF2 etc. i get a good ping for servers in my area (20-60) and have pretty fast Download and upload speeds, but when i try to connect to these servers, it never seems to be able to, the times that i can connect, i get disconnected after a few seconds to a minute. can anyone please help.

How do you connect to the internet... router ?

You did not set an incorrect dns adres by mistake?

Did someone setup QoS on the router your not aware of?

Any news on the port forwarding?...............
