Hello there,

I decided to build a new core of my PC and I would like to ask you if the result will be enough for comfortable gameplay of StarCraft II with streaming in 720p (most probably with Xsplit app on twitch.tv).

New components

CPU
Intel Core i5-2550K

MB
ASUS P8B75-M LE - Intel B75

RAM
Kingston HyperX Blu 8GB DDR3 1600

HDD (system)
OCZ Vertex 3 LP - 60GB

Old components

HDD (data)
Seagate Barracuda ES ST3400620NS - 400GB SATA3G 16MB

I know.. 400GB is not a lot of space, but it is not critical issue for me at this moment.

Graphics card
Asus EN8800GTX/HDTP/768MB DDR3

My old GTX. It was almost enough to play StarCraft II on ultra details with the old components. I guess that it is not necessary to change it in my case.

Computer Case
CoolerMaster Elite 311

One of the newer parts of my old PC. :D

Power supply
LC-POWER LC6550GP-v2.0 550W Green Power

I hope 550W is enough :-|

LCD
Asus VH203D - LCD monitor 20"

1600x900 Native Resolution

Please note that my budget is around 550 - 600$ (just for the HW. OS is not included).

I will be glad for any suggestions! Thank you in advance.

Hi, the i5 K is not so power hungry and has plenty of power to stream/mutlitask.
However, are you only installing 8GB ram? I would suggest increasing to maybe 16gb for smooth 720p.
The GTX is prob fine for now, as a new cpu will breath new life into it.- you can always upgrade later.
But seriously try at least a 650W PSU, more is never bad in PSU terms and will also eliminate a possible future failure of the old PSU.
And even a second hand 24" makes a world of a difference.
