I "successfully received" a 4-page fax from a big corporation. Everything
indicates no problems. But when I try to display it, all I see is a small
dot in the middle of the page. It's a TIF file (size 90 KB) and I am using
the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. I can advance to all 4 pages, but they
all show the one small dot in the middle of each page. Zooming in doesn't
change anything. I called the company that sent it and they also show it was
sent successfully. I can view other received faxes without any problem. Any
suggestions?

Their Fax machine doesn't get along with Windows XP Fax for reasons
unknown. Have them send it again and see if it fails the same way. If it
fails the same way a second time, have them send it to a real Fax machine at
you're local Kinkos or the like.
