With my 2.0A overclocked at 2.4 running idle at just 26C with the stock fan, temperature does not appear to be an issue with Northwood P4s, but at what temperature range should I have to start worrying about the speed being throttled?

just make sure it doesn't reack 60c or over. Although it may still work at 60c or over, you are destroying the life of your processor more quickly.

sorry, but I'm still stuck in the Pentium III world

Intel's site gives 68c as the acceptable limit for a 2.0, and 69c for a 2.2 (haven't checked about newer ones). I've hit 70c with my 1.6A and been ok, but I wasn't there for prolonged amounts of time. High voltage kills CPUs quicker, but it has to be some pretty damn high voltage in order to do so.
