Can you overclock the FSB of a Athlon XP to 166 from 133 and still have a stable system.

Yes and no.
Depens on the system cooling, memory, motherboard, luck......

Unless you unlock the CPU... in that case is almost 100% sure (of course having RAM and motherboard 166 MHz capable)

I had an EPOX 8K7A+ and a T-Bird 1.3 (AYHJA) Running at 1.5 on a 166 bus. (9*166=1494) Ran perfectly! The only thing is that the EPOX board I used had a 1/5 multiplier on one of the later BIOS's. Without that BIOS, I couldn't get past 150 FSB.
