Hey,

I am no novice to hardware, but I am a novice to overclocking. I have crucial PC2100 8-8-5-2-2-2-2 ram and a DFI Ak-76SN MB. (I know I went cheep on the mb) And an xp 1900+. Heat isn't a problem as it is running at 30-40 degrees. Anyway, I can't stabily overclock the fsb higher than 137 and I have read that people can get it up to 166 cas 2.0. My system won't even post past 141 mhz. Does anyone have any suggestions for me to get any higher than I am now?

PS I tried to unlock the processor but my hands are too shaky to do it.

Thankx

Try using CAS 333. If you are able to go higher than 137 MHz FSB then would be the memory the part stopping your OC.
