Battlefield 1942

Yo, when loading muliplayer game , cannot load map , error;disconnected from server. I have cable. All recommended ports open on router and dmz enabled. no 3rd party or win xp firewalls. I have re-installed game,updated to current patch, current video drivers, directx 9.0b.
SYSTEM:
Win xp pro , msi max655 mobo, sis655 chipset, P4 2.4 Ghz, 512 M ddr400 corsair xms ram, raedon 9700 Pro 128m, maxtor 80g 7200rpm hd. I've been to EA games and followed all recommended faq's for crashes or games not loading. Just wondering if any one else has the same problem ??????

It could be several things. Incorrect Game Version.Too high of a ping, or the server is full by the time you try to connect.

Sometimes I must try 5 or 6 different games until I find one I can join.

I aint signing nothing!!!

It could be a network or server problem

Or it could be the server you're trying to join has a custom map that you don't have.
