I checked it out and since the last Top 200 Club Teams Report was generated we made 113 Wus, Casema the No. 199 made only 23 Wus, and no. 198 Bulgaria made only 62 Wus.

We should pass these guys before long as well. We need to put some distance between us and the bottom of the list lest some newcomer knocks us out of the Top 200 Teams.

By my reckoning we should be at 198 at the next stats refresh.

Stats

THG (200) 48292
Casema (199) 47907
bulgaria (198) 48195
AOL Beta Team (197) 48752
Mylene Farmer (196) 49191

We are climbimg up now but we will have to see how the higher posistions respond and how tough the bigger teams will be....

Hello. FD here. First time poster, long time reader.
I'm officially hooked on SETI. I have it running on a few computers at work/home, but i feel the overwhelming urge to do more! I've optimized my systems the best i can. Any other advice? How many computers does the average THW Seti member use?

I'm thinking recruitment....

More computers are the answer, I have about 9.
It looks like we've just moved up one position, we're sitting at 199. At least we're moving in the right direction!

So are you a member of the team yet? Like galanz said, the more computers the better. I have 3 at home and a couple more at work. Due to the California power problems they arn't on 24x7 any more. But the more you can recruit the better.
Setidriver and the cdl line is the fastest option in my opinion.

Average numbers are a little subjective. I have a cpu dedication rate of around 7.3 in Setispy.

I actually have around 20 cpus that run seti on/off.

The highest performer is my home 1.6Ghz Athlon that will turn out 5 a day if I'm not using it for anything else.

As people sa the key is to run it on more cpus - make sure nothing is running a screensaver and that you are running the CLI version.

Welcome to the team, and keep those WUs coming - you are a member of an up and coming team!

I run it on 4 full time and 2 to 5 part time, I can't remember which ones I took it off of. I will soon have 2 more full time (oced T-Birds as opposed to some K6 based procs).
