overclock trouble with an epox mobo.

Whenever I up the mhz in bios on my epox 8k3a+ mobo it recognizes my xp 1800+ as a 1900+ or higher processor depending on the amount over 133 I set it at. How do you disable this auto detection?

i don't think you can.. Why would you want to take it off? it's just saying that it runs at 1900 speeds... it isn't actually saying its a 1900.

Time is the best teacher... unfortunatly, it kills all of its students.

That doesn't matter, it is just trying to relate the actual clock speed to comparable AXP PR ratings. Pretty much, for your 1800+, anything over 1533Mhz is considered a 1900+ and above
