Hey,
So, for a long time, I've had no problem playing BF3. I took a break for a few months, and when I went back to playing it last month, it would freeze my whole system after 15-30 minutes of playing. The freeze would just be an entire freeze of my whole computer, sound loop, and all I can do is hard reset. I've looked all over for solutions, but everything I've tried hasn't helped. I've got three monitors, but I only use one when I'm playing Battlefield. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Specs:
Windows 7 Ultimate Version 6.1.7600
Motherboard: MSI MS-7529
BIOS Version: American Megatrends Inc. V2.8, 3/11/2010
SMBIOS Version 2.5
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.40GHz
Installed RAM: 4 GB
Total Virtual Memory: 8 GB
PSU: Antec EarthWatts Series EA-750 Green 750W

GPU: Radeon HD 6950 2GB 256-bit GDDR5

Anything else you need to know, just ask. Thanks again for the help, this is getting pretty annoying.

What have you tried?

I have seen PC's in the past with these 'hard' freezes, and most of them was disk I/O failures.

Plug the hdd cables out and back in when PC is off. Run a disk check with windows and tick "Automatically repair file system errors ", reboot to do a boot time check.
