My friend has a Xerox xk50cx and after installing SP2 he now receives a
message about setting up the catridges. When he clicks ok to it..he
gets an error message about missing ssascui.dll. clicking cancel allows
printing to go through.

There does not seem to be any information on the Xerox website about
this and any support will cost bucks...so I'm trying here first. Has
anyone help found a solution to this.

Thanks
Sal.

Chances are when installing SP2, it relocated the dll file. Has your friend
done a Search for the file on his entire harddrive?

right click "administrative Templates" and click add remove templates. you will then have a dialg box with a list of templates. Click Add and this should open the Windows\system32\inf folder and list a number of .ADM files. From the list add in Conf.adm and System.adm. Close the Add/Remove temples box and you should now have the requied options
