I have a Abit IT7 and a P4 1.6a. I want to get at least 150fsb, and i was wondering if watercooling would be overkill for a P4 set up. For me, extreme air cooling and water cooling come out to be about the same amount, but water cooling is quieter. But do i even need extreme air or water cooling to hit 150fsb on that P4? first hand experience would be very appreciated.

Yuo probably don't need anything but the stock fan. Fatburger was able to get his 1.6A to 155MHz FSB with just the stock fan.

but water cooling will give u stability in the long run and a piece of mind, it also allow you to overclock it even higher than 150
