I can print with no problems what so ever, but when I run their Scanner
software, it says the module cannot load but I don't know why.

Printer is USB attached, but I have several UPnP and other services stopped.

Does anybody know what services are required to run to get the Scanner to
work properly?

I'm using WinXP PRO SP2 + Post SP2 patches applied.

Epson printer drivers and scanner drivers are all the latest versions.

Have you asked Epson?
