I'm working on building a system, and I've got all the components I want narrowed down except for the heatsink/cooling fan. I'll be using an Athlon XP 2200+, and as I've found, there really aren't many heatsinks out there right now that are officially certified to work with these processors. I'm thinking that a Volcano 7 from Thermaltake might do the job; I've heard that people with 2100+ chips can use these fans with no problem, and as far as I know the 2200's don't run that much hotter. I'm also not planning on overclocking my CPU. Could anyone offer some input or suggestions? Thanks!

If you are definitely not going to Overclock just use the heatsink that comes in a full retail boxed AMD unit, but to me a Volcano 7 is much to heavy a heatsink to come with a single hold down clip, I've got one and it makes a good paper weight, because after the holdown clip broke the ceramic securing finger off of my processor socket thats all it was good for. Lesson learned here is if you're going to use a heavy heatsink get one that mounts to the motherboard itself.
