The difference between the FCA and FMA units can be seen in these two pictures.

Besides fan placement, in which the FCA seems to be better, there is a difference in minimum output as well as operating frequency. Read the specs to see.

Frankly I don't know why they made two different PSU's. These are the only differences I can see and based on what I know the FCA version looks much better, especially since its bottom fan is placed better.

The only other difference I see is the FMA has the comment "noiseless" while the FCA states "low noise"

the biggest difference is the color, they made one anodized blue to match the alluminum cases they sell (nice cases!!!!)

how do you shoot the devil in the back? what happens if you miss? -verbal

Just get the 550W one, I like mine, not using it to the max but it's ready to take on any future add-ons if needed. At least I hope. :lol:

I got the Enermax EG651P-VE(FMA) 550W too, very nice PSU, and I like the growing room it gives me. Picked it up @ directron.com...

We all love disassembling things to see how it works, but who wants to put it back together again?
