Driver for Epson T-1000

Disconnect the printer from the PC and cleanup all the drivers first....

The printer is very old and the only driver available is the one included in
XP so after Cleanup and reboot, use the Add Printer Wizard to install the
printer.

I should have mentioned that the driver there is suitable for Windows NT4
but possibly not for XP. Cari is correct. The best driver might be the one
on the XP distribution disk. A T 1000-specific driver is listed.
