Hi.
I'm buying my new computer next week, and I'm not sure about overclocking the S/U/M/A.
There's such big different from 4200 to 4600(The level I want overclock to)???
And now to the statics:)
The card cames with 550MHZ memory and 250MHZ of videochip(the thing with Nvidia sign on it, I don't know how to say it in english:)
I want to overclock it to
250->310\320, I not sure yet.
550->650
Am I need special cooling???
Tnx

it's gonna be tough, even if u did manage to hit the Ti4600 level, it's not recommanded to leave it running for a long period of time. Ti4400 level sounds more realistic.

1. get a copper hsf for cpu ( preferably 60x60 base)
2. remove your stock hsf
3. dremel the cpu cooler so it fits on to the GPU, so if there's any component such as capacitor thats in the way, you'll dremel the cooler to make room for them
4. once the cooler fits correctly without comes in contact with other component, then you will mark the position of the 4 mounting hole that's on the pcb on the bottom of the hsf
5. dril drill drill
6. screw the cooler into place( dont forget thermal compound )
7.now also get some copper ramsink and add them on to the ram chip with some arctic thermal adhensive.

you might want 2 find some guide on the net 2 get more detailed illustration

now u are ready to break the limit, hopefully not your board.

I think 4600 is going to be out of reach but you can always dream can't you. GL
