all right all right here goes, no spoilers though.

first off forget all that crap that those a$$clowns over the net who have seen the film and have a bug up their ass. they are nitpicking over the most minute $h!t. this movie will blow you away in some parts and keep you entertained through out the rest. smith has learned to replicate himself and neo has a fight with a hundred smith's in a playground. trinitys snaked in this film enjoy. keanus acting isn't nearly as bad as the a$$clowns make it out to be, not oscar material but better than aotc acting. the freeway scene will blow you away. don't go in expecting the best thing since sliced bread and you will enjoy this film and want to see it again. there is a lot to take in so don't overfocus on the movie and just enjoy it first time through. then go back to see it again to see what you missed, goddamn monica belucci oh yah. the special effects are better than the first although there is a cg neo at one point, obvious but insignificant throughout the whole scheme of things. just sit back relax and take it in and then go see it again. over on it aint cool news all the star wars, lotr, xmen, and matrix fans have been flaming each other like intel amd and throw in nvidia and ati over which is better, and the truth to that is each his own. not everyone will like this movie, however that is your choice to do so. time to sleep have to get up in 5 1/2 hours now.

now that i have had some sleep and food (biscuits and gravy hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm)
let me expound a little more on this film.

Nona gaye is pretty, she is the person who aliyah was to have played in the film and is also the sister to tank and dozer. the more i think about it the more i like it and want to see it again so i can truly enjoy the film and pick up what i missed before. ignore the negative reviews because if you remember these same people said the same thing about the matrix when it first came out only to recant once they saw how people loved it. there are flaws but like i said before they aren't go to ruin the movie. Merovingian scenes are cool especially the "cake scene". the philosophy is laid on throughout the scene and the high points of the movie are with the oracle (she has the best lines in the movie still) and the architect. so go see the movie and decide for yourself whether or not you like it. i canna not wait to see et agan

I loved it, saw it last night. Kinda funny how I saw it, I was driving by the theater and decided to go watch a movie. Me and the gal I was with decided on Bulletproof Monk. Once that movie was over we noticed a huge line out the door for the Matrix, we just turned around and headed inside the theater and the cleaning lady didn't say a thing about us being inside. Lucky me I guess

But anyway I didn't even bother to nitpick anything, I just sat back and enjoyed tbe movie. Very entertaining, I read some reviews and I honestly think some people take movies too seriously. They dont know how to just sit and watch the damn thing. They tend to be too busy looking for something to nitpick. Anyway go see it you'll enjoy it as much as the first.

Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder.

critics suck, my local one gave it a B (as a letter grade of course). I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT! Going on Saturday most likely. Remember how bullet time was the new technology featured in the first one? In Reloaded, the revolutionary tech was creating a 3D Model of Neo for some scenes, the transition between real Keeanau and the CG version are almost seemless, and superior at the present time.

I want to ge the video game too.

I'm off to see it tommorow.
I totally agree with you man, I don't understand why people always have problems with movies they see. Just enjoy it damn it. I consider going to movies and watching these, as grants, as something wonderous. Here we have the IMAX-style theaters, Famous Players Canada. It is simply awesome, but then you have people who will just criticize. Sad.

If you see it stick around for after the credits. At the end, they play a trailer for Matrix Revolutions. It's badass.

That movie was killer. Awesome. Gotta see it again. I was really pleased with how in depth the story got. 6 months till the next one.

One word describes my experience of watching the sequal:
"Super-mother-fvckin-badd-bitchin'-ass"

Yup, IMO, it exceeds the first Matrix in about every way: story, visual effects, excitement, comedy, and more visual effects. Cant' wait for the 3rd installment.

My favorite scene: the "playground fight"

Everyone, GO OUT AND WATCH IT!! (Espcially you, svol. You should try and get out sometimes instead of staying in front of your computer all life long =).

i thought the movie was fan-[-peep-]-tastic. i was worried up till the freeway scene, i was thinking, man this isnt all that great, mostly special effects and about 10% farther than the first one. then they got to the part with the architect. thats all i will say for now. i think i will wait a few days then start a new thread where we can discus spoilers. none of my friends have seen it yet, they have wives and babies, suckers!!!!! lol

This is just how much we are addicted, and this is how much this movie is. I give it a 5 star rating, something I rarely dare give, as to diverge from perfection when there isn't. It is unbelievable, it simply brings out excitement up your throat and you feel like giggling like a school girl.

What a disapointment, I can't believe we've waited four years for this crap, If hollywood was putting out something descent on a regular basis, you all wouldn't be so greatful for the crumbs they throw you. It reminds me of when they butchered up the Alien series and threw in Alien 3, that was another big disapointment. The Matrix Reloaded seemed like a big stall for time, hopefully they'll straighten it out with the last one, when you get through with the OOhs and AAhs, you'll realize your butts hurting, cause you just got screwed.

Here's a little spoiler for people who don't get the movie...Zion doesn't exist, Neo isn't the One...the Oracle is a program designed to create the illusion of hope for those individuals who reject the Matrix. Morpheus and the rest of Zion are still inside the First Matrix. Neo just realized that and he can now control the sentinels. With the complexities set up in this movie, I doubt Neo and the rest of Zion will ever get out of the Matrix.

jaythaman, remember the end of the Matrix when Neo actually lost all the doubt and realized he was the One, the Agent Smith was like moving in slow motion, Neo stopped the bullets in mid air, then dived into Smith and destroyed him from the inside out, with the movie ending with his flying Superman type deal, fully understanding that he had completely breached every binding obstacle that the Matrix had in place. Then Matrix Reloaded takes him back into the doubting realm again, throws in some great fight sceens, and sex sceens to appease the audience, shows you he still has the ability to stop a wall of bullets with a wave of his hand from all the machine guns, has the ability to put his hand inside Trinity and remove the bullet, but with all his abilities still has to fight all the Smith Agents, like a ressurrected old bad kungfu movie. Come on Jay if he had what was shown why did he have to fight like that, He stuck his hand inside Trinity and removed the bullet, if he could do that, he could of stuck his hand in an Agent and pulled his heart out, and showed it to him before the Agent died, Neo had crossed the realm of possibility, there was no limits or boundarys for him. Thats why I feel we got ripped off, the Matrix took us 5 steps forward, and Reloaded 4 steps backwards, I was expecting a whole lot more than we got, an excellent SCIFI movie is only limited by the writers imagination.

I get the movie, AMD_Man, I just don't like where they're going with it, of course anymore Hollywood can't seem to do anything that requires imagination, and good writing, they're too busy making inadequate sequels, or duplicating someone elses movie, or doing a remake of a once successful movie, maybe with the annimation realm, they won't screw up the coming Hulk movie, because they won't be bound by settling for a less fantastic sceen, because it takes too much money to create, and throwing crumbs to the audience, like we're a bunch of idiots.

Remember the conversation Neo had with the Architect? He explained to Neo how Zion is merely an illusion for people who reject the Matrix. He explained how Zion and the Matrix have been reloaded 5 times before. There have been 5 other "Ones" before Neo chosen by the Matrix. The human mind, by it's nature thrives on solving problems and struggling, which is why the matrix allowed a virtual Zion to exist to let these people believe they're fighting for something. From what I understood, no one has ever gotten out of the real Matrix. Neo may end up being the first human being to ever leave the Matrix because he's apparently the first human to control the Matrix of the Matrix (at the end where he was able to control the sentinels like he did with the bullets). Also, the Architect gave Neo a trick decision...the other door, would in fact, simply reload the Matrix all over again. Hence, "The Matrix Reloaded".

lol, what did you want Neo to do? Jump out of the screen and tell you you're trapped in the Matrix? Neo isn't a god...he still has his limits. He's still "only human".

i have read posts from aicn news with the same complaints. what people should remember though, is that this is 1movie split into 2 parts. i dont think neo has regressed, i believe throughout reloaded he is doubting not so much himself as he is the path to take and what to do. he knew with the smiths that he could not beat all of them so he simply took off, plus he altered smith when he destroyed him in matrix, made him differnt, so neo may not have wanted to repeat same thing. all in all i think those who are disapointed now will not be when revolutions comes out. have faith

Seems to me you were the idiot here, because the rest of us took it as it is, understood or tried to, and loved it.

I agree with jmycal and AMD_Man, Neo ain't no god damn it, and remember that the agents came back, they may have grown in strength god knows, but they certainly must have been stronger. If you bothered to stay for the Revolutions trailer, you'll see a rainy street fight with the agent and Neo, as if it were the final battle. This indicates to me that those agents are all weak, and that the true core one is a much stronger being that thought of. It could also be the architect who had trouble recreating agents.

I went to see it again today heheh.
This is the first movie I ever returned to see again in the theaters.
It's even funnier to think that my friend stayed to see it again, just as we came out of the theater yesterday, he just repurchased new tickets for the next showtime, but in french with his other friends who just came in.

Strange how everytime a new movie with so much anticipation, comes out, it gets flamed because of friggin critics who can't try to enjoy something for what it is. We're in an era of entertainment, be thankful, stop taking it for granted you pussies.

Eden, I understand what you're saying and as for what they've established, they ran the story line as they could, but thats not the only way it could have gone, when Neo is connected into the Matrix, he doesn't have to be a God to accomplish superiorly extraordinary feats, because he's not really there they are all programed illusions, and his illusion has the power to break out of the set parameters or limitations of the Matrix, so really he could only be limited by his fleshly bodys imagination, in other words if he could imagine it he could do it in the Matrix. So the things I was looking for in the movie, just didn't happen. I did stay for the Revolutions preview, and it looked a lot more promising to me, I hope it will be.

I could watch this movie again and again, the Matrix serie has this special thing in them not seen in any other movie, the desire to watch it repeatedly with no tiring!

That "NOT" must have come by Jay's provoking huh?

In reference to what you told me, other than thanks for the comments on my skills,

try to find me what it COULD have been!

I try to find what I could improve, but I can't.
What you should however try to see, is that the movie is a half-way thing, it's a bridge, it should not have been meant to even be this hyped, since Revolutions is the conclusion, MONTHS AWAY! No movie's ever done such, and it's amazing they even produced so much in the second. I think that you looked farther than you should have. Overall, user comments from what I checked on 440 votes on a site, was 4/5. Lots of 5/5, but also 1/5, from idiots. Idiots are those who go and don't care what movie they see, so they review whatever they want. You also got the disappointed ones, which I just wonder why they expected so much. Jay still has a point, it's entertainment, you should go in and feel entertained than create your own world of what YOU wanted to see.
Needless to say, I am willing to keep this rational discussion as long as you also try to open your mind and not think you were the one who's right, that the movie was not done right at all.

BTW I do feel it was wild and imaginary, the Superman parts blew me, I love the dynamic movement Neo does and the way he just flies around, and the 1rst person view of it is even more nice. I just loved the imagination the Wachowski brothers brought to us. Yes I agree, the first one had its own flair, the whole "What is the Matrix" will be missed, but IMO this sequel does justice so well, it's the best movie to date to me, and the best sequel as well. Sure it does have its flaws, but we put them in bold when we shouldn't. X2 comes in the second as best sequel.

I am gonna buy the soundtrack, I just listened to some of it, and it featured the songs I loved to hear during the film, man it rocks. Even Main Theme is nice! (The Warner Brothers theme, leading to the Matrix Reloaded title screen)...

i was going to go see again this weekend and couldn't maybe i go wednesday again or monday night better. i think one of the reasons why people have been dissapointed is that they expected something that just could not be delivered. matrix revolutionize the way films are made and story lines and plot lines etc, not just action or sci fi. warner brothers saw something in the wachowskis because they gave them complete control over the sequels which is extremely rare in hollywood ever. when people first started posted these negative reviews (although i suspect many of them are xmen, star wars, lotr fans trolling) i really got dissapointed that i was info another let down so i saw the movie with a step back so to speak. the next time i see it i can focus on the movie and enjoy it more. btw did you guys see any of the filming goina on while they was down under? compared to alot of the stuff that is put out matrix is by far a better product even if it doesn't live up to expectations, which few things ever do. i think they have taken some bold steps that other people, studios, actors, directors, studios wouldn't have the balls to do. my 3 cents
