Hello Guys and Girls,

I need some help, My Friends and I have a minecraft server we use alot and use Skype while playing to talk to each other this works great. But we would like to be able to listen to music in the same fashion... We are willing to change product but haven’t really the interest pay a monthly fee. Any recommendations?

We all have more than strong enough computers for that and good internet connections. Please help us.

You'd need a sound card (cheapest you can get, like this one):

And 3.5mm cable:

Next, you insert the card into one of your friends PC (or your own), and connect blue and green outputs of the card together with the new cable. Then turn on the PC, right click on skype shortcut, add " /secondary" to the target, so it looks like this:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe" /secondary

Then, launch it, and create an a skype account just for music playing. Then log in, go into Tools->Options, audio settings and on microphone select "Line-in". On speakers reduce the sound to zero. Press OK. Now, open your music player, and select audio device of the card you just bought. Lastly, make a conference call with one another and include the secondary skype account in it. Now, when you launch music, everyone can hear it.

Doesnt seem to work for me To get a second session of skype I just duped the skype file in programs ran it as administrator... My old sound card is too old I am buying a new one. my on board can do the job but its got a tendancy to cut out when some one is talking... its audiable but not perfect. I'll keep you posted
