I want to get a decent computer build. I'm not looking for a miracle computer to run the best games on the best quality, just something good enough where its fun to play on. I want your opinion on this build I picked out. Also, are all these part compatible?

This is my first build ever, so I just want advice, if you think any parts arnt good or arnt compatible tell me. Also if there is anywhere I could save a few bucks tell me. I just want your opinion on it and if it will be good for my intended use.

Thanks!

Its not a terrible build except the graphics card but srcy's is much better though I would get a pentium G series with it to try to squeeze an even better graphics card into it. The graphics card you chose will not even play most modern games.

At a glance, the obvious change for me would be that you are spending $110 on memory but $45 on graphics. If gaming is your main plan, then you should probably swap the money around. For $110 you can get HD6770, HD7750 or GTX 550Ti on that website. 8Gb of identical ram is $45.

That said, if your budget is ~ $500 you are probably capable of getting better gaming performance by putting even more into graphics.

Sorry but that build is just terrible.

Here's a decent one for about 400:

Z9 Case
i3 2100 CPU
500GB Caviar Blue
H61 Mobo
4GB Ram
500w PSU
AMD 7770
Optical Drive
