i mean, you like Nvidia simply because of its name. this has to be the only reason, because they make slower and more expensive video cards with lower visual quality than the competetor. its as SIMPLE as that man

so yeah, go find an nvidia fan forum, because we do like ATI here. because they are making the best products right now. if Nvidia did, then we would probalby favour them. thats the differnce between ATI fanboys and Nvidia fanboys

I'll probably get blasted because i dont even have enough posts yet to even be a newbie, but does anybody who doesnt have a ton of posts get any respect around here? i could post worthless opinions/comments on every thread i see, or answer every poll to boost my post total, but i dont, mostly i just read and learn.

basically my point is that if i, as a stranger posted some of the things genetic weapon posted i would be blasted as a newbie who knew nothing. i'm not saying all of gw's posts are worthless, he clearly has a passion for video cards and knows more than most (and more than i do). just a little tired of the flame wars and newbie bashing.

one thing i definatly do agree with gw and grape ape on, mulletkid showed his ignorance and lost his credibility when he started bashing anybody for their nationality. thats even more worthless than flaming and newbie bashing.

if you posted usefull information then yes you would get just as much respect as anyone. at least from me


and if you disagree with something, back it up with facts. dont just go "your wrong and stupid, you dont know what your talking about" then of COURSE your goint to get flamed man, its just common sense...


i mean, GW posts new info here all the time. brings up important debates... so there you go. and sure he flames a little more than new people, but thats because were friends here and comfortable with eachothers insults

When I first started posting here, I wasnt like this. But I care about this forum more now then I ever did back then. After your here a while, you understand that not all things should be taken seriously. Especially post's like my "Fuckk Nvidia" post...I am just having fun, thats all. I dont want people to get into serious fights, I just like to be a dork sometimes. As far as nOObs not being able to get away with shitt like that, it's true....but the only reason why thats true, is because people dont know you well enough to know if your serious. My friends here know that I'm just being a lame ass, and joking around, the only people who took me serious are the new guys. And there are quite a few newer people here that I respect alot, they give great advice to people who need it. It really isnt hard to fit in here. Unless your mentally challenged like mulletkid.....

In a nutshell anyone can say anything here, but obviously the people who have been here longer will have more allies. GW has been pretty straight forward with his sense of humor so we all know what to expect from him.

Mulletkid, If you keep on open mind you'll learn more here than you would have ever know. If you get a attitude, well your the one that's out of luck then. Keep your attitude while we all learn together & enjoy each others successes. You have blown it. I suggest that if you want to hang here you do the Honorable thing (cough, choke) & register under a new name. Then read & listen for a couple of months. You might have a new perspective on things then. Cya!!

I don't randomly flame newbies. There's no point, we were all newbies at some point. But anyone who hasn't proved themselves and then starts bashing forum fixtures/contributors better be prepared to get torched. Simply put, don't shoot off your mouth UNTIL you gain some credibility.
What you posted is fine, criticism is always good, as long as it is constructive criticism, which in this case it wasn't; in your case it was.

Anywhoo, I try not to flame people except those truely dousing themselves in gasoline and saying "I dare ya'". Otherwise I'll usually resort to my Sarcastic Bastard facade to poke fun at a nOOb, while maintaining some level of civility. Hey it's a Forum not real life. In Mullet's case he's been here before spewing and it's really just annoying.

Anywhoo, that's my two synapses worth.


Edit: PS, Rcpilot was talking about mulletkid not you with regards to going elsewhere. If you're one and the same person then we're done here. Otherwise it wasn't directed at you re-read. That's one of the examples of confusion of a 'stranger'

Wow Ive got quite the thread goin here! Hey Phial and GrapeApe, you guys are ok in my book. Genweap as well even though he still irritates the hell outa me. Im just glad you(geneticWeapon) removed that link to your pic. Scary stuff man.
Note: I do tend to favor Nvidia just because of previous bad experiences with Ati, but I still leave that option open to other people if they are so inclined. I wouldnt go so far as to say I'm an Nvidia fanboy or Nvidiot. And thanks guys for seeing my comments in other threads and making a better judgement of me.

I still hate nerds, but if i think you're one ill let you know. Phial and GrapeApe, you guys are not.....yet.
