If you can get it pretty cheap and like the Halo series, then yes. For my money though, just as the game was getting interesting, it ends, and it was a little on the short side.

It was a few years ago, but at this point, not really. Reach has firefight, much better campaign and one of the best multiplayers ever. The only reason to get ODST is because the firefight is slightly better than reaches IMO.

Don't know if you already bought the game but I didn't like it at as much as these guys say (in fact, i'd say its the worst Halo game / expansion in the series).

Why is it always dark dark dark in the campaign?

Multiplayer was ok (if you're into Halo's multiplayer) and I have nothing bad to say (or good) other than it wasn't better than its previous games in the series.

If you're looking for a "better" halo game, wait for Halo 4 (which seems like they finally stepped forward in the series).

Not flamming...just expressing my PO.

@Alex
I was not aware ODST even had multiplayer.... Which was the main thing I didnt like about it. I know it had Co-Op for firefight and campaign but did I seriously miss a entire feature of the game as big as multiplayer????

Maybe you bought it used? The multiplayer was on a seperate disk. Here's a copy paste from Wiki about the MP (i'm too laisy to put my opinion again)...

Multiplayer

In lieu of a complete multiplayer option, ODST includes Halo 3's multiplayer game modes contained on a separate disc.[9] The offering contains 21 multiplayer maps released for Halo 3 as well as 3 additional maps titled Citadel, Heretic, and Longshore.[10] The maps are tied into Halo 3's achievements. Along with the Halo 3 maps, ODST includes a version of the Forge map editor[11]—a utility that allows player customizations of multiplayer levels.[12]

ODST contains a cooperative game mode called Firefight, where players take on increasingly difficult waves of enemies in a timed survival game. Firefight can be played cooperatively with up to three other players via networked consoles (System Link) or Microsoft multiplayer service Xbox Live or with up to two players on the same console in splitscreen mode. Players start Firefight with only the Rookie as a playable character; completing the campaign mode unlocks other characters and maps. Players are awarded medals for making special kills, and individual and team scores are tracked throughout the games. Inside Firefight, players have a shared pool of seven lives, which are replenished after completing five rounds. Adding to the difficulty are modifiers called "skulls", which give enemies new abilities or a handicap to the player – the "Catch" skull, for example, causes enemies to throw greater numbers of grenades. Each of the first three rounds in a set activates a different skull. On the fourth set, all skulls are activated and the players must survive 60 seconds.[9][13][14]

Edit: I assumed the OP already knew this (that it was a redo of Halo 3's MP with bonuses, maps, etc.). But do NOT expect a whole new MP with ODST, it's only an expansion after all...
