HI,
I`t seems that when my computer goes in sleep mode, the fan (a volcano 7) keep spinning. I am unable to leave the pc on for the night as the fan is real loud. Any suggestion on how to make the fan stop when the pc goes into `sleep` mode?
I have an AMD 2000 and a A7V266 board.
Thanks -

Asus had a feature to make the fan stop in sleep mode in a BIOS update, but it may only be available for the Asus A7V333. Alternatively I would advise you buy one of these, attach it to your fan, and adjust speed down to quiet the whole computer. It's very easy to use. You simply turn a knob to control fan speed to your liking.

Don't adjust speed down too low, watch your temps and make sure they don't go above 65 C.

You might also see if your MB has a STR (Suspend to Ram) function, that might tell the fans to turn off where standard sleep mode won't.

I've never actually gotten my STR to work, but my MB is a little older also.
