Im kinda confused why my pc cant handle batman on max details here is my setup
CPU i5 2500k 4.8GHz
MB gygabyte ga-z77x-ud3h
GPU 6970 x2 in crossfire
RAM 12GB on 2133MHz
PSU Cooler master m2 1500w
game runing from SSD kingston hyperx 240gb

on max details with psyx nvidia thingie is turned off i sometimes even get 10 fps but in less crowded areas im having fps stucked at 60 with vsync on

It's not very confusing at all. Because PC gaming is always dynamic and the hardware is always changing, dev's don't feel a need to insure all settings are playable. If they are not very playable today, one day hardware will catch up, and they are playable.

Just turn settings down.

60-70% on a CPU usually means one process/core is maxed out, while others aren't. It's that core that is assisting the GPU in rendering scenes that is holding back performance.

I have 680's in SLI, and I can't max out Batman AC either. I've looked up a few tweak guides, and they often recommend using DX9, and not using the DX11 options.

well none core is stucked i got in game cpu/gpu monitor playclaw. ty for fast answer i think trying dx9 should be worth it . ill get back with details

From a toms article "But the minimum frame rates are terrible across the board. It looks like the patch didn’t solve all of the bugs in DirectX 11 mode. We’ve given this one a couple of chances now—it’s safe to say it’ll likely see its way out of our benchmark suite in favor of something a little more stable."
from http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-hd-7970-benchmark-tahiti-gcn,3104-12.html
Also note the 6990 gets lower FPS than a 6970 suggesting it doesn't like crossfire.

That to me is incredible :ouch:

I understand what you said before, but still THE best current cards can't handle max settings in a game that came out months before.

Lol how did the developers do it then? OC 690's in quad sli? Or can THEIR pc's not even handle the game they made? :heink:

I really thought having 4gbs of vram would let me max batman out but sadly this not the case either

Who said they maxed out the game? They don't have to max the settings to include the settings.

I also have high standards on FPS requirements, to be considered playable and I play it in 3D Vision, but it still is not playable without 3D Vision, in my opinion (things get choppy often).

lol first everyone demands a more demanding, better looking game to challenge their newly built pc's. Then the game comes out and owns then, then everyone cries and blames developers for making their $2000 machines slow. The Crysis cycle all ova again. haha

I agree about the Crysis thing completely, but this one could also be related to needing a few bug fixes too.
