Can a Vert PSU block a HSF

I want to buy a short case that has a vertical placed PSU. My question is, Will this block a larger heatsink such as a volcano 7 or a volcano 7+ or is there plenty of room between the PSU and the heat sink?

My case sounds similar to yours, and I have less than an inch between the two. I can probably slide a finger in between the PSU and my Volcano 7+.

I also have another HSF from Thermaltake that has even less space, but does work. So you shoud be somewhat ok depending on how close your case is to mine. And it probably does restrict airflow some.
