Duron OCing?

i just ordered a duron 950mhz for my bro using a k7s5a. im planning to oc it to 1263.5mhz by changing the FSB 133mhz x 9.5 i want to know what athlon this is equivalent to in performance when it comes to gaming?

The 950 is a Spitfire core which usually won't overclock beyond 1050, air-cooled. You might reach 1200 Mhz with water and peltier cooling. Check the CPU database at <A HREF="http://www.overclockers.com" target="_new">www.overclockers.com</A>.

A 1 ghz Duron (Spitfire) is about equal to 800 mhz Athlon Thunderbird.
