Windows XP Home cannot join a domain. If this is a work computer, you
should probably ask your IT Department to install XP Pro so that you can
correctly join the domain and install the printers.

Are these Ethernet connected printers or shared on another machine? Can you
see other computers on the network? Is this a domain or a peer network?
I have to respectfully differ with Cari. Although XP Home cannot join a
domain it can use network resources including printers (I set this up all
the time for my clients with domains and users with XP Home laptops), but
there can be several issues involved in setting up the access.

If it's a workplace domain, the IT department should be dealing with the
problem rather than the Limited Account User.

I'm having the same issue with a client I am trying to help. On a Xp Pro
machine I shared a USB connected printer. I loaded this printer on a laptop
that was on a wireless connection (Same network) and was able to see the
printer and actually print a test page. A few days later my customer called
me back and said he couldnt print from the laptop anymore. I looked at it
and it wont browse to save its life. I can't see shares of any kind. I
turned off the windows firewalls on both machines.

Any advice?
