I have a friend who bought a new HP Deskjet 3845 printer a couple weeks
ago. She has an always on high speed DSL internet connection. Whenever
she prints something, when the printing is finished her internet
connection disconnects and she has to reboot the computer to reconnect.
She didn't have this problem with her old printer. Anyone have any
ideas as to what could be causing this disconnection?

Are her printer and DSL connection sharing a USB connection?

I don't know, but the problem is fixed. I had her uninstall and reinstall the
printer driver, and that seems to have taken care of it. If the disconnection
problem returns I'll ask her about the USB connection.

right click "administrative Templates" and click add remove templates. you will then have a dialg box with a list of templates. Click Add and this should open the Windows\system32\inf folder and list a number of .ADM files. From the list add in Conf.adm and System.adm. Close the Add/Remove temples box and you should now have the requied options
