overclock a TNT2?

this was probably explained thousands of times, but since im a newb at graphic card overclocking, i wanna ask you if you can overclock a diamond viper ultra v770 TNT2? my mobo is a Intel SE440BX-3 if that helps

Overclocking a graphics card doesn't require the motherboard details at all, nor does it involve the BIOS
It can be achieved entirely via software !

with the TNT2 I am not sure what you can actually achieve by OC :/ I seem to recall people saying it was hardly worth it. But if you insist a program such as powerstrip <A HREF="http://www.entechtaiwan.com/ps.htm" target="_new">http://www.entechtaiwan.com/ps.htm</A> will do what you need

ok my engine runs at 150MHZ and the memory at 183MHZ, whats the max i can overclock each setting? my card is Diamond Viper Ultra V770 TNT2/TNT2Pro

not much higher I think, I had a TNT2 ultra and it wasnt much to overclock (it was 175core & 183memory I think)

I think that's about how far my non-Ultra would overclock to. The Ultra should go a bit higher, my guess is around 165/200. These cards are much more powerfull than the GeForce2 MX200 by the way, due to the fact that they have OVER TWICE the memory bandwidth.

cheers Crashman... must try it some time... got the name of a good overclocker program ??? (the last program I tried on it wouldnt save the settingh I changed it to...)
