Please, I will be happy if anyone can help me with this. I have an HP
Officejet (all-in-one) v40xi. When I send a file to print, it gives me
error message, "Remove and Check Black Cartridge". When I remove and
check, the cartridge seems ok, but I clean it to be sure, same error
message is repeated. I even cleaned the print contacts as recommended
by several sites on the internet, no way. I even replaced the black
cartridge with a new one, no way.
When it gives the error message and I then cancel the print job...
after the job is cancelled and then I try again, this time it will
print normally (without my ever having to remove the cartridge).
I'll be glad if anyone can help me.
Other baseless error messages it gives are: Press Enter to align
cartridge. You press enter, it doesn't align, giving the same "check
black cartridge" error. When you cancel and try again, it prints.

Probably best to contact HP on this one. Looks like you've done almost
everything you can by yourself.
