Scanning from Lexmark X73

Lexmark X73 scan/copy/print function only works with the admin account
(Windows XP Home Ed). Scanning will not work with limited accounts; however,
printing works OK with limited and admin accounts. ?????

Does anyone have input why scanning does not work on limited accounts using XP?
