I am seeing lots of spool problems on the forum, and maybe this is related.
I am running a mailing machine which uses Windows Generic/Text only printer
driver. It is hooked up through a wireless print server directly connected to
my network. (not using the wireless). When I print my records to be sent to
the Mail Machine, the job dumps into the print spool, then VERY SLOWLY sends
each record to my mail machine. If I don't put the machine on-line the
spooler spools each record to a point of about 400 or sao, then stops and
waits. Putting the printer back online starts it up again.
System Usage is 99% and I set my Priority to High - but nothing helps. Have
run checkdisk and defragged and cleaned temp files. I am running XP firewall.
This wasn't going on as recently as about 1 month ago. Not sure what has
changed.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
