Abit Kx7-333r + AMD 1800+ @166FSB???

hi,
is it possible to overclock the 1800+ @ 166fsb with the KX7-333r without unlocking the CPU????
the 5:2:1 ratio seems not helping much.

I would guess it depends on your chip more than on the motherboard. Try unlocking your XP; that motherboard you have just loooovvvvees the FSB.

What is the code of your CPU?
I've seen one XP1600 AGOIA going to 166 MHz with no problems. However with the XP1800 you will need LOTS ok good luck, voltage and good cooling (at least not the HSF coming with the CPU) such as volcano 9 or 7+
