I am waiting on my mobo and cpu and already have my pc2700 ram, yet I found out today that I will not be able to run my ram at 2700 (only 2100) due to the fact that the 2.0a only has a 400 mhz fsb, to run the ram at top speed I would need to OC my cpu to 2.6 to get the 133 multiplier........thus allowing me to set my ram to 2700.

So..........being a complete newb to OCing, I'm gonna need to know what fan you guys suggest and any other helpful tips

Epox 4g4a
P4 2.0a
Samsung 256mb DDR333

IIRC, there's a 133MHz FSB jumper than you can use to get the DDR333 support.

Are you serious? Hmm well I still want to overclock.......I'm scared but I'll just do it slowly, I was told its pretty hard to fry a P4..............they just wont boot if its too high.......is that right?
