Hi I'm bying new heatsink for Athlon XP, do you think
MCX462(or any other) will be compatible with hammer?

Your Swiftech might and might not be supported. The size is alright but who knows hoe the screw down attachment will corispond to the new motherboards. The one listed above uses the clip method of attachment. (Not my personal favorite.) However once we get motherboard specs we will know what will and will not. So until then I can't answer that.
