Can't play mafia ii after install it

Hello,
my spec is amd unknown model 3dnow 2 cpus 2.8 ghz 1022 mb ram direct x 9.0 vga is nvdia geforce 9500 gt 1024mb
after starting mafia ii app no signal my pc just worked normaly

Ah well your wording is a bit confusing, can I take your specs as this?
CPU: AMD Dual Core 2.8GHz (unknown model)
Memory: 1GB
GPU: GeForce 9500GT
??

If so I don't think that is adequate for that game to run properly but not a lot to go on.
If steam, repair install. If not try run as administrator.
