I just got the LG-VX6100 from VZW store. When a call comes in it rings
then i hear verizon wireless audio clip followed by the ring followed by
verizon wireless audio clip. How do i disable the verizon wireless audio
clip part of this. I see nothing in the manual about this or i'm looking
in the wrong place.

You have the ERI Sounds on. To control whether they are on or off, go to

Menu -> 9 Settings -> 1 Sounds -> 5 Service Alerts -> 2 ERI Sounds.

Thankx i was playing with the menus and i couldn't figure out with the
ERI was so i turned it on thinking it had something to do with roaming.
its proberly just telling me i'm on VZW as opposed to a roaming partner.
Now i'll turn it back off.
