This problem has been around for a few months now, and seemed to have shown itself when AMD released 12.3.
In all games that use the Source Engine, every game that uses GameBryo (Including Skyrim) and certain games in a First-Person view give me an insane amount of stuttering/choppy mouse.
There is no mouse lag, as there is no delay in mouse movement when swiping. This "choppy mouse" only occurs when looking at various objects, dead bodies, walls, swiping the mouse down, vertical and horizontal. This is more noticeable in Team Fortress 2, Skyrim, L4D2, Amnesia and the entire S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Series.
Keep in mind that this never has happened before, especially with Stalker (Complete Mod, Maxed (No AA @ 1080p) constant 60 frames.
Games not affected by this are... Battlefield 3, Sniper Elite V2, SHOGUN 2, Company of Heroes, Sins of A Solar Empire, and The Witcher 2.
PC Specs: i5-2500k, ASUS P8Z68 V-LE, Kingston HyperX 8GB, ASUS 6970. Nothing is OC'd.
In all the games that I'm affected in I have high frames, never even dip under 60 (Especially in TF2, Black Mesa, L4D2) Yet this odd choppy mouse feel is constant. It's even worse with V-Sync ON, and without it the amount of screen tear is horrible.
I've unistalled/re-installed drivers for both my GPU/CCC, Mouse (Logitech G500) rollback drivers, updated, and I even reformatted my PC. Nothing has worked. I've also tried two different mice with the same outcome.
Keep in mind that all those games, even the ones affected never were before, and I can indeed run those very high. -And the worst ones are those running on the Source... I just don't understand.
P.S I learned that Setpoint just causes issues with games, and so I deleted that. Running purely on OS with Mouse Acc disabled.
