New heatsink for XP?

I'm using a Duron800 now. I have a Coolermaster fan, i don't think it's model-name is important now. I'm plannig to have a new XP 1700-1800 but i wonder if i can still use my old heatsink and fan? I think i can't use it because of the smaller die-size. Is it right?

if you bought the heat sink at the time the durron was best its more than likely not good enough.

how do you shoot the devil in the back? what happens if you miss? -verbal
