Can i download patches on ps3 through my phone

I was wondering is there a way to download game patches for my ps3 through my smart phone any info would be helpful

if you mean directly to the phone the transfer from phone to ps3 by USB probably not

but unless you have a plan that gives you unlimited mobile data i wouldn't recommend it
