hi i'm new to all this, so pls excuse any errors on my part

my system:
amd xp 2000@ 1.737/139 fsb
soyo dragon+ with latest bios
256 ddr pc2100 kbyte brand
thermaltake volcano7 hsf
verto geforce3 ti200 64mb
300 ps maxpower brand
win98 se

my computer just seems to reboot at odd moments 10-15 minutes (sometimes longer) after boot up. but will ultimately reboot for no apparent reason. it does this too with all default settings in the bios. in short, overclocked or not i get this intermittent reboot. i have reformatted my hdd and reinstalled win98se thinking it must have been an app i installed but this did not work. even tried another hdd (i use a hdd caddie). all drivers r up to date (i think).
what should i do next?
any help will be greatly appreciated.
thanks.

Swap out the PSU and /or ram. Updating the Bios might be the answer.

I agree with scotty. The PSU and ram are often overlooked with a problem like this.

Had the same problem exactly a couple of years ago, and the problem was a fuc#ed up PII/400 CPU...
I had a headache 4 about a month with that system, changed and re-installed everything possibly. Untill I got to the CPU. Thank god I still had warranty...
goodluck :)
