My younger Brother is thinking of upgrading his old HP SFF pc, to play some older games

He's upgraded it to this Currently?

Intel E8400 (Stock)
8GB DDR2 Ram
160GB Intel SSD
7750 1GB Low Profile
300w psu



Heres are the Games He plans to Play:

Far Cry 2
Medal of Honor Airborne
Red Dead Redemption
Fallout 3
Deus Ex Human Revolution
Brink
BulletStorm
BodyCount
Spec Ops: The Line

How well can this system play current games at 768 resolution? Max or at least High?


He's not planning to overclock due to the psu and budget constraints, so will this affect his performance?

How well can this system play current games at 768 resolution? Max or at least High?

-High for 30-60 fps, Max probably around 1-30 fps.

He's not planning to overclock due to the psu and budget constraints, so will this affect his performance?

-Not at all, Im running a second desktop with a E8600 3.33Ghz, 8gb ram, HD5670 512mb, 350W PSU. All these tested fine and gave me a descent 30 fps on average in high/medium

Hes got nothing to be ashamed of. He can be proud ^^

so the e8400 and ddr2 are still viable nowadays for performance, thats a surprise

so the 7750 profile can't max out any of the games though?

you can play all these games but you can't max out them... hd 7750 is similar to hd 5770.. i have my own e8500 and a gt 430... it plays battlefield 3 on low settings with 40 or some time 50 fps with 3 gb ddr2 ram.. if i can play them on gt 430.. so you can also on medium or high...
