Installing a Citizen Swift 24x wide carriage dot matrix printer under new OS
Windows XP.
MS-supplied driver does not seem to know it has a wide carriage - all
printing is truncated apparently at the width of the narrow carriage version.
It worked fine using the MS driver under previous versions of Windows (98,
95 and 3.1)

Have you set the correct width of the page ....Control Panel, Printers &
Faxes, from the Toolbar, select File, then click on the Forms tab.

Thanks for the reply.
There doesn't seem to be a Forms option from 'File' on the Toolbar.
I selected Properties and tried the widest paper as the paper setting
wherever I found it, to no effect.
There doesn't seem to be anywhere to set the paper width explicitly.
Under W98, the printer's own paper setting didn't seem to matter, anyway -
it printed to the width of whatever was set in the application.
