Hi! I have a Abit KR7A-133 and it works fine at 185 FSB WITH a MSI Gefoce 3 Ti200... But with a MSI Geforce 4 Ti4200 at this FSB (185), when I run some game, it locks up my system!! The only way to run games is at 168 FSB...

Please, anybody knows what happens?

The system:

AMD Athlon XP 2000+ @1850 MHz (185x10)
Abit KR7A-133
1 x 512 MB Sansung PC2700 Memory at CAS 2,5
Maxtor UDMA 133 80 GB Hard Disk
MSI Geforce 3Ti200 64MB and 4 Ti4200 128MB(detonator 30.82, 40.41 and 40.71)
Win XP SP1

well the most obvious conclusion is that the geforce4 doesnt like as high AGP speeds.

and considering your running at 168 on a 133 board thats still pretty spectacular...
im very suprised other PCI devices dont die on you as well.

Yes, this is true.

The GF4 hates high clock speeds. I can get it to hammer out at 70mhz, but anything over that and it refuses to play.

Also, the higher your agp goes with a GF4, the less you'll be able to actually overclock the card. So, you're better off running it at 67mhz, and overclocking the card.
