Hi all,
Would you kindly let me know the setting for OC'ing my Abit IT7-MAX2 MoBo (i845E Chipset) in itsSoft Menu III BIOS?

I know it does NOT officially support DDR 333, but I have purchased TWO sticks of 'Basic Mushkin' 512MB PC-2700 (DDR333) and although it works flawlessly, I know I can push it to fully utilize its potential.

Your insights and help are greatly appreciated.

Here are my newely built system:
Pentium®4 2.4B GHz
Abit IT7-MAX2
Mushkin DDR 2700 [1GB Total]
PNY GeForce4 Ti 4600

If your memory can handle a bit of an overclock, you could use the 3:4 ratio and get DDR354MHz out of it.

Hey, saw your post at SharkyForums.

Yeah, do what Crash said. You'll get quite a bit more perf in memory hungry apps.

Yuo could try going to 166MHz FSB and using Ultra RAM timings too. Give you 3GHz.
