Does anyone has an idea how I can get my MSI GeForce4 Ti4200 128MB any higher then 285/560 without getting artifacts? I've seen results above the 300/600 with the same card.
I use watercooling for the GPU and RAMsinks on the RAM.
I've a 350W EnerMax PSU on an Abit KG7-RAID.

Anybody found something about an AGP Voltage mod for this board, or voltage mods for GF4 cards? Any cooling tips?

:frown:

It is not a watercooling gets to hot issue... according to a sensor the temp of the waterblock on the GPU is just 30C.
But I'm gonne see if I can place something at the back of my card, cause it feels hot there.

That's pretty aweful!! I have the same card and with default cooling, I can get to at least 300/540. I haven't tried any higher as of yet.

You could try upping the AGP voltage to 1.6 or 1.7V. Oh,,, can you not over volt the AGP?

I will see if increasing the I/O Voltage helps... otherwise I ask Abit if they can supply me with information to mod the board for higher AGP core voltages.

You never know... now I first have to find out why my CPU can't take any higher then standard multiplier with even 2.05V Vcore anymore.

I used coolbits registry hack, but I ran out of slider room, so I went to RivaTuner.

BTW svol: I ran the 41.03 Quadro drivers and I could overclock the core a bit more. You could try that too.

BTW svol, I've got to 310/595... just to show you that you should do better than 285 core.

I know... I now have 290 Mhz.

Some days ago I added a back heatsink to the GPU. And now I'm working on a VGPU and a Vmem mod.

in my experience the Ti 4200's memory is a bigger problem then it's GPU. my Ti 4200 does 322 GPU stable, but only 550 memory, if i go past 550 i get artifacts.

it's a 128MB so default memory was 444.
