Just moving to a windows 2003 network in 4 schools I have a total of 37
printers in all the buildings I would like to assign the default printer by
the computer that the user is logging in to (ie. teacher is in library I what
teacher to print in library) I have the computers named by the printer that I
want to be the default (bhs407AA00) the AA is the so called zone that i want
to print in. Is there a way to do this? I have tried scripts but can not
figure out how to write it so that the script looks at the AA part of the
computer name. I was told that this should work but I can not figure it out
