Borderlands 2 lag

I bought Borderlands 2 for PC figuring i could run it. And it can it runs smooth until i shoot my gun then it laggs a little bit and then when i get into battle it will lagg a little bit more. Now here is my LAPTOP specs. I understand that there is alot of issues with the Dual Graphics card in this laptop and I do believe that is the problem. ALSO no matter what the settings are on it always seems to do the same thing.

CPU- Intel Core i7-2530QM CPU @2.00Ghz, 2001 Mhz, 4 cores, 8 logical
RAM-8GB
Graphics Cards
-Intel HD Graphics Family
-Radeon HD 6770M
Driver version 8.882.2.3000
I am alos running BIOS version F.1B for the switchable graphics card to stay on fixed the Radeon.

borderlands 2 doesnt have the best optimization im running it on a gtx560ti hawk and i5 2500k and its mostly running on 80 to 120 or more fps but sometimes it lags to 20

I have a 2500k and gtx 560ti and i've found that ambient occlusion and fxaa are what caused the biggest performance hit. Also im running at 2560 x 1440 but i can still get 40-60fps with AO and FXAA off
