Preference: Intel i7 and Nvidia

OS: Win 7 (maybe 8 soon)

Statement: Would like to be able to handle the latest and greatest of titles such as

- BF3
- Metro
- Skyrim
- Dishonored
- Etc

Please advise, I wish this rig to last me +3 years. Cannibalizing parts is a must.

So far, the parts I picked are as followed

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/k0oB

CPU: i7 2600k
$289.98

Mobo: ECS H61H2-M2(1.0)
$56.97

$284.99

If anyone can suggest or point me to a better amalgam of hardware that are compatible, that would be wonderful.

I might suggest getting a 7950 not a 660 but it really depends what you want to play most. The 660 might be a bit faster in bf3 but the 7950 is plenty, and the 7950 definitely wins in the Metro series. But then again 660 beats 7950 in Borderlands 2 unless AMD updates some drivers for that game. The 660 has PhysX (whoop-de-doo) and Transparecny AA while the 7950 has massive overclocking abilities. In the end the 7950 is slightly faster overall I think but if you mostly want to play Frosbite 2 (bf3, mohw) then the 660 might be the better choice.
