unlocking XP - what if i can't paint straight

I'm just trying to unlock my athlon XP by joining the 5 L1 bridges. My work so far looks sketchy to say the least. If i have joined bridges i shouldnt have, what is going to happen when i power it back up? Will it be time to go down the shops for a new one?

you mean like:

im pretty sure it just wont work (the unlocking, the cpu would probably still work)

i would still play it safe and see if you can "chip" away gaps between the bridges that you have connected together incorrectly, use a pin or needle or something

That sounds reassuring thanks mate.
i've tried to tidy it up a bit with a scalpel. Also tried to test it with a multimeter but the probes are too big.

One way to find out i guess
